Large, flower-filled garden of 600m² + large pergola terrace in a quiet location, sheltered from view and the wind.

The accommodation

Bedroom no.1 is modern and very comfortable, 14m² with a magnificent 7m² private en-suite bathroom, fully equipped with toilet and walk-in shower.

Bedroom no. 2, choice of: 1 king-size double bed (180x200 cm) or 2 large single beds (90x200 cm). Lovely en suite bathroom with all mod cons, toilet and walk-in shower.

Each room is equipped with keys, a luggage rack, a wardrobe, chairs, a small table, a kettle, and tea service (with tea bags, herbal teas, and instant coffee).

The beds are equipped with thick pocket spring mattresses, duvets, and two pillows per person.

Enhanced insulation. Minimum temperature 20°C.

Wi-Fi, USB, Ethernet.

Guest access

Inside: Free/shared access to the living room/lounge/dining room.

Limited/shared access to the kitchen for basic, quick cooking.

Possibility to store perishable food in the refrigerator and ice packs in the freezer.

Outside: Free/shared access to the garden and terrace, with dining area: large table, garden chairs, and pergola.

Smokers: wall-mounted ashtray available on the terrace on the stairs leading to the garden. Please ensure that smoke stays away from the windows.

Shared with the host and possibly the occupants of the second bedroom.

BREAKFAST (service from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. - must be ordered the day before!) I offer two options:

*BASIC BREAKFAST AT HOME* (included in the room price). Baguette + 1 croissant + a selection of teas or coffee, or hot chocolate and a wide choice of jams + honey available on site.

*FULL BREAKFAST AT HOME* For €15 per person

Baguette + 1 croissant + tea, coffee or hot chocolate + butter and a wide selection of jams + honey + muesli + fresh cheese/yogurt + fresh seasonal fruit + Fried eggs + bacon + roasted tomato + thin slice of chicken ham and cheese + 1 freshly squeezed orange juice

- Laundry: washing + drying: (€10 per cycle, maximum 7kg), collection at check-in / return the next morning.

“Do most visitors find my accommodation well located in relation to Mont Saint-Michel and other points of interest and amenities?”

Although it is understandable from the comments that walking is not always popular, most of my visitors appreciate the free use of my private parking, as well as the proximity of my house to restaurants (5 minutes on foot) and the pedestrian riverside path (a lovely walk along the Couesnon River that leads straight (and flat) to Mont Saint-Michel in an hour's walk or to the free shuttles 30 minutes away on foot.

My house is 5 minutes from this walk.

You can also rent regular bikes and electric bikes on my street.

Of course, it is possible to find a few hotels in Mont Saint-Michel, but you will need to budget much more just to be in Mont...

It is possible to find hotels in the parking area where the free shuttle bus is located, also a 30-minute walk from Mont Saint-Michel, but this area of hotels and parking for mass tourism does not have the charm and tranquility of my house :)
